FinalForms and the WIAA are excited to continue their partnership into the 2023-24 school year. This partnership ensures the delivery of new features, on top of a solid foundation, that enhance data governance, data sharing, and data integrations with other partners such as WPA network. These reporting features continue to be available to all schools at no-cost, though reporting becomes streamlined for FinalForms customers.
Starting with the 2023-2024 school year, Scholastic Award information will be entered into FinalForms. Detailed instructions are as follows:
SUBMIT GPA BY TEAM
- Login to FinalForms
- Click MANAGE > SPORTS
- Click the EXPORT button in any Sport’s row
- Select ‘WIAA Scholastic Awards’
- Input information in the required boxes
NOTE: This information will be pre-populated if a) you imported GPA b) you managed GPA per Student for more than 50% of your students. - Click SUBMIT
MANAGE GPA BY ATHLETE*
*IMPORTANT: NOT REQUIRED – this option only allows automated computing of Team GPAs above
- Login to FinalForms
- Click MANAGE > SPORTS
- Click the ROSTER for a team
- Select MODE: ELIGIBILITY above the roster
- Click the CLOCK ICON (also for Physicals) in any student’s row
- Locate the ‘Athlete GPA for WIAA Scholastic Awards’ and input GPA
- Click UPDATE ELIGIBILITY
As a refresher, in the Fall of 2022, WIAA launched FinalForms “Tower” to form a data hub for districts, schools, administrators, sports, coaches and certifications. WIAA also added Pass Gate functionality within FinalForms Tower to efficiently distribute Pass Gate lists for tournaments. Now, WIAA plans to integrate roster reporting into FinalForms Tower and providing several more functional advantages in 2023-24.
NEW FOR 2023-24:
Sport-specific clinics are now offered as a form in FinalForms
- WIAA manages the information within this clinic, provides materials for coaches to view, and highlights changes from previous years. A coach verifies completion of the clinic by signing an online form. Like previous years, these will be available on 8/1.
- NOTE: The WIAA General Rules Clinic and all sport-specific “hands-on” clinics appear as certifications within FinalForms coach profiles.
- All certifications that were available through my247ed and NFHSLearn in 2022-23 remain available through those providers.
Contact and demographic information collected through forms in FinalForms
- All athletic staff will be required to complete the “Contact Information” form which will be used to ensure accurate contact and appropriate demographic information for reporting.
Roster Uploads
- All WIAA member schools will now upload/maintain rosters in FinalForms. Rosters will be required for all sports, creating a data hub for authorized access and appropriate distribution. Benefits of this new process include:
- “Near real-time” integration with WPA for public-facing rosters.
- Automatic report generation for various WIAA-required reports such as the Annual Participation Survey and Academic Bowl.
- Automatic addition of postseason rosters into Pass Gate. Enhanced sharing options for Pass Gate.
- FinalForms customers will enjoy the benefit of reviewing rosters that are already populated from parents’ registration and coach verification and management. Non-customers will be provided instructions, training, and support on importing rosters, as noted below.
